Béart was natural within Gassin Var, not far from St. Tropez, on the French Riviera. She is the girl of the French singer and poet Guy Béart (who is of Russian and Spanish descent), and an Italian-Greek mother, Geneviève Galea.

As an eleven-month-old she found an acting role in the 1976 film "Demain les Momes." Witharound her teens she appeared inside minor role in television so attend Montreal, Quebec, Canada to work as a nanny prior to giving to France a ensuing season to attend drama school around Paris. Additionally to her screen act, Ms. Béart is too known for her social activism. She is an ambassador for UNICEF, and has manufactured news for her opposition to France's anti-immigration legislation. Within 1996, she processed newspaper headline after, defending a rights of the "sans-papiers" (blacken illegal immigrants), she was forcibly flushed fallowing her class action’s occupation of the Paris church.
